Contacts Help Sections - Delete Contact

The following steps will walk you through deleting an existing Contact.

  1. Make sure you are in the Contacts tab. If you are not, click the word Contacts which is in the Tabs at the top of the program.
  2. If you are in the Contacts tab, note the Navigation Pane in the left hand side of the program now shows a list of Groups.
  3. Also, in the Data Grid the Group's Contacts will be shown.
  4. In the Navigation Pane select a Group. If you have not created any Groups then click here for help on creating a new group.
  5. In the Data Grid select a Contact. If you have not created any Contacts then click here for help on creating a new contact.
  6. Click Delete Contact. This is located in the Ribbon Bar.
  7. A confirmation box appears. You have two options.
    1. Click Yes to delete the chosen Contact
    2. Click No to take no action, no Contacts will be deleted.
  8. If you clicked Yes the Data Grid will no longer show the Contact you chose to delete.
  9. Also the Status Bar will read: Status: Deleted contact successfully.
  10. Tip: if the Navigation Pane or Data Grid is focused on, you can use the arrow keys of your keyboard to move between Groups.
