Contacts Help Sections - Delete Group

The following steps will walk you through deleting an existing group.

  1. Make sure you are in the Contacts tab. If you are not, click the word Contacts which is in the Tabs at the top of the program.
  2. If you are in the Contacts tab, note the Navigation Pane in the left hand side of the program now shows a list of Groups.
  3. In the Navigation Pane select a Group to edit. If you have not created any Groups then click here for help on creating a new group.
  4. Click Delete Group. This is located in the Ribbon Bar.
  5. A dialog box appears. You have two options.
    1. Click Yes to delete the chosen Group.
    2. Click No to take no action, no Groups will be deleted.
  6. If you clicked Yes the Navigation Pane will now show that you successfully deleted a Group,
  7. Tip: if the Navigation Pane is focused on, you can use the arrow keys of your keyboard to move between Groups.
