Mail Help Sections - Bounce Back/Unsubscribe Settings

The following steps will walk you through setting up your Bounce Back/Unsubscribe settings.

Step 1:

  1. Make sure you are in the Mail tab. If you are not, click the word Mail which is in the Tabs at the top of the program.
  2. Click Bounce Back/Unsubscribe Settings. This is on the Ribbon Bar. A dialog appears.
  3. In the Server Name: text box type in the Server Name you want to use. If you need help with this contact your ISP.
  4. In the Port: text box leave it as 110 if that is your POP port. Otherwise change the value.
  5. In the User Name: text box type in your username.
  6. In the Password: text box type in your password.
  7. There is a check box for Use SSL. Check this if you want to use SSL. what's SSL?

Step 2:

  1. There is a check box for Use Mail-based check. Search for keywords in replied-to email subject line to search for for Unsubscribe. Ex "Unsubscribe".
  2. Leave this checked if you want Mail-based check. Change the text box from UNSUBSCRIBE or leave it as it is.

Step 3:

  1. There is a check box for Search for keywords in email subject line to Subscrive to your mailing list. Ex "Subscribe".
  2. Leave that blank if you want. If you do check it:
    1. Enter a value to check for in the text box.
  3. Click Save or press Enter/Return to save your settings. Or click Cancel to close the dialog without saving.
