How to Add a Facebook and Twitter Button to Your Email

With Email Marketing Pro, you’ll find that adding a Facebook or Twitter button to your outgoing email is actually an extremely simple process. Why pay monthly fees to an online service to do such simple things for you when you can do it free?

To add a Facebook and Twitter button to your email, you just need a bit of html code to enter into the html source. You can copy and paste the following code snippets  into your email or email signature.

Simply insert the URL of your Facebook page in between the empty quote marks below:

To replace the URL of the Facebook page to your own, do the following:

  1. Visit your Facebook page in your web browser.
  2. Copy the URL of the Facebook page in the address bar of your web browser.
  3. Insert your cursor between the quote marks where the html code reads:  a href=””
  4. Paste the URL of your Facebook page between the quote marks

Note: to use a smaller Facebook icon than the one provided, try doing a Google search for royalty-free Facebook icons. Or download the icon here and reduce the size of it in a graphics editing software program such as Adobe Photoshop.
